My name is Dave Anderson and I was elected for the MP for Blaydon Constituency in Tyne and Wear in 2005. I am honoured to have been asked to become a patron of FACT.
Like 1,000’s of others I have been personally touched by cancer, my Dad died from Liver cancer and I lost my brother to bowel cancer. Unlike some though I am in a privileged position in that I can do something about it by fighting in Parliament to help to change the lives of cancer suffers and to help find treatments.
That’s why I am so pleased to be supporting FACT, an organisation based within my constituency, providing direct help and advice for cancer patients by co-ordinating organisations who can give this support.
I wish the organisation every success.
