We have a wide range of fitness classes available at Denise Robertson House. There's something for everyone, no matter your physical fitness, age or activity level.


Here's a run down of our weekly fitness classes.  Please contact us to book.

Monday:


Over 50's Fitness Group (12:10 - 12:55 and 12:55 - 13:40) suggested donation £2
The over 50's group is one of our most popular sessions. The 45 minute session is taken by Emma from The LIFE Programme. The session aims to 
increase independence of those with long term health conditions allowing them to make new friends and take part in exercise.  If you're fancying the class but aren't over 50, don't worry - the session is open to everyone! Because of the popularity of the class, please contact us to book your place

Tuesday:


High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 12:30 - 13:00 suggested donation £3 
HIIT is the most intense session we offer. HIIT is a form of exercise in which you alternate between very intense anaerobic periods and slower recovery periods for a shorter, more efficient workout. The half an hour class is open to all levels- perfect, quick workout you can squeeze into your dinner break!

Pilates 13:15 - 14:15 suggested donation £3

Pilates aims to strengthen the body in an even way, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and well being. Pilates has something to offer people of all ages and levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes. 

Yoga 18:30 - 19:30 suggested donation £TBA - starting 3 September
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.


Wednesday:

Yoga 9:45 - 10:30 suggested donation £5

Walking Group 11:00 - 12:00 FREE
Our walking group is free and open to everyone. The routes aren't challenging so the group is open to everyone. It is a perfect way to be active while meeting new people and having fun!

Thursday:
