Before FACT I worked for Northumbria Police as Police staff in the Crime department for 10 years, covering all sorts of areas such as finger print bureau, DNA, Crime Admin and looking after crime scene exhibits.

I joined FACT in May 2016 as part of the services team.  We delivered safe in the sun assemblies, awareness sessions on signs and symptoms and visiting local communities and business spreading the work of FACT and the services and support we can offer.  We also looked after the many support sessions such as coffee mornings, men’s group, ladies groups and more. 3 years on I am now part of the Grants and funding team, helping make grants and bids for FACT.  We have to apply for funding for everything we do at FACT and to make sure we can continue to deliver all of the support and services to everyone who needs it.  I am thoroughly enjoying this new role at FACT and love my team where every day is a school day!  I still look after my men’s group and the FACT family day’s which are very much a part of why we do what we do here.

In my spare time I am a Judo, theatre and performing arts mum. I love pilates, reading and enjoying the outdoors with the family.
